<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title compound useful for providing a thermosetting composition which is excellent in storage stability and can give a cured product excellent in chemical performance, etc., by selecting the title fine nongelling compound obtained by reacting a specified polycarboxyl compound with a plurality of specified compounds. CONSTITUTION:The title nongelling compound of an acid value of below 10 mgKOH/g is obtained by reacting a polycarboxyl compound having at least two carboxyl groups per molecule an acid equivalent of 1000g/mol or below and a number-average molecular weight of 4000 or below (e.g. a compound obtained from trimethylolpropane and hexahydrophthalic anhydride) with a compound having one vinyl ether group per molecule (e.g. isobutyl vinyl ether) and a compound having two vinyl ether groups per molecule (e.g. 1,4- cyclohexanedimethanol divinyl ether).</p> |
