<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a shaping speed in accordance with a change in the band of a virtual pass(VP). SOLUTION: A cell received by a cell receiving part 1 constituting an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) transmitter 10 is supplied to a cell output part 3 through a receiving cell flow rate measuring part 2 and a cell switch part 6 and then supplied no an ATM terminal/switch 30. At the time, a cell flow rate is measured by the measuring part 2 and the measured result is supplied to a transmitting cell flow rate control part 5. A cell inputted from a cell input part 7 and a cell generated from a cell flow rate measuring cell generation part 8 are supplied to the control part 5 through the cell switch part 6. The control part 5 supplies the cell to the cell transmitting part 4 at a cell flow rate corresponding to the measured result and the transmission part 4 sends the cell supplied from the control part 5 to a line 20.</p> |
