PURPOSE:To provide a coating material for a branched part of a wire mass production of which can be done inexpensively and being rich in versatility. CONSTITUTION:The title material consists of a coating material 11 for a branched wire and a coating material 12 for a main wire formed with a crosslinked polyethylene heat-shrinkable tube. The coating material 11 for the branched wire is a product wherein a branched wire inserting hole 11a is formed on the central part and which is folded back at the center of the inserting hole 11a to the opposite side of the inserting hole forming part to make into a bifurcated shape and the inserting hole 11a has such a size which does not produce constricted parts on both end parts of the folded-back edge under the folded-back condition. After a main wire and a branched wire are inserted into both coating materials 11 and 12, one end side of the coating material 12 for the main wire is covered on the folded-back part of the coating material 11 for the branched wire at the branched part and both coating materials 11 and 12 are shrunk by heating to cover the branched part. |
