PURPOSE: A parking device for an electric vehicle generates a warning signal to a driver on the operation of a vacuum pressure generator due to the damages of a brake booster and a pipe. CONSTITUTION: If the signal of a vacuum pressure generator operation perceiving sensor(14) is transmitted to an electronic control unit(ECU, 18), the ECU(18) warns the current state to a driver by operating a warning device(20). If a vacuum pressure generator is operated on the state when a brake pedal is not trod, a negative pressure is leaked by the damages of a brake booster and a vacuum pressure pipe, thereby indicating the decrease of a vacuum pressure. Then, a warning signal is transmitted to the driver.
