PURPOSE: An intellectual input/output controller for converting an interface function is provided to develop a control part of a specific input/output device, and to simultaneously use a part for common use in the same way in case that an intellectual input/output controller is embodied by dividing a hardware of the intellectual input/output controller into the part for common use and the specific part. CONSTITUTION: A basic module(101) is composed of a processor(111) programmed to perform an intellectual work, a memory(114), a peripheral circuit(115), a main input/output interface unit(112), a connector(116) and for a PCI interface unit(113) for connection with input/output device control module(102,103) and an input/output controller(117).
