PURPOSE: A tundish flux containing graphite is provided to improve work efficiency by minimizing the generation of dust when a flux is injected after it is made up into a granule, to prevent the re-oxidation of a molten metal by securing a spreading property and to save cost. CONSTITUTION: A tundish flux containing graphite is composed of SiO2: 60 to 65%, CaO: 1 to 2%, Al2: 10 to 15%, Glass: free, C: 10 to 14%, graphite: 2 to 8.5% and other impurities. The tundish flux is inflated at a high temperature and changed into a powder type, and its volume is increased as it contains graphite. The effect of preventing re-oxidation is improved since the contact with the air of the molten metal is perfectly blocked by the change of graphite, and the effect of keeping the molten metal is improved.
