PURPOSE: An interrupt processing apparatus for transmission equipment is provided to save a manufacturing cost by processing a plurality of interrupt regardless of a priority sequence. CONSTITUTION: An interrupt processing unit(202) is connected to lines in which first to MNth interrupts are provided and outputs an interrupt generating signal for indicating an occurrence of an interrupt when the interrupt is occurred from one or more lines. A CPU(200) reads group signals and interrupts stored in the interrupt processing unit(202) when the interrupt generating signal indicates the occurrence of the interrupt, and searches as to any interrupt is occurred and processes a corresponding interrupt according to the searched result. The interrupt processing unit(202) has first to Mth interrupt grouping units(3001-300M) and an interrupt generating signal output unit(302) for generating an interrupt generating signal using first to Mth group signals of first to Mth interrupt grouping units(3001-300M).
