PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bibliographic information from being lost wholly even when a small area on a part of book samples is partially lost or the like, by recording a lot of bibliographic information in that area by attaching a hologram, with which the bibliographic information is recorded as a two-dimensional(2D) code, to the book sample. SOLUTION: A hologram 2 and an ISBN code 12 of bibliographic information recording are applied to the back cover of a book 1. Thus, since the bibliographic information is recorded on the hologram 2, even when any partial dirt or damage is generated on the hologram 2, the bibliographic information can be read from a section where the dirt or damage is not generated, owing to redundancy in the recording of the hologram 2. Besides, even in the case of the 2D code recorded on ordinary paper by printing or the like, the 2D code, if damaged, can be recovered upto 20-30% by providing an error correcting function. Further, the 2D code can be miniaturized and made into higher density as compared with a conventional bar code and can record data more than 100 times as those of the bar code. |
