METHOD FOR PERFORMING RECORDING MODE USING PDC DATA

PURPOSE: A method for performing recording mode using PDC data is provided to enhance an efficiency of a system by stopping a recording mode when occurring a power failure using a PDC data and performing the recording mode when the power is turned on. CONSTITUTION: A method for performing recording mode using PDC data is judged as to whether a TV system is turned on(301S,302S). It is judged as to whether a current recording mode is performed when the TV system is turned on(303S). A PDC/VPS code is detected and a power failure predicting code is searched when the recording mode is performed(304S). The recording mode is successively performed when the search of the power failure predicting code is completed(305S). It is judged as to whether a current time is successively identical to a power failure predicting time(306S). The recording system is turned off when the current time is successively identical to the power failure predicting time(307S). The recording system is stopped while a power is turned on and the recording system is turned of when the power is turned on to perform the record mode(309S).
