PURPOSE: An LCD is provided to prevent a degradation of a picture quality by providing a gate driving signal to both sides of a gate line. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gate lines(G1-Gn) are arranged at a uniform interval in a display panel unit(10), and receive gate driving signals(Vg(1)-Vg(n)) from a gate driver(20). A plurality of data lines(D1-Dm) are arranged at a uniform interval in the display panel unit(10) for being crossed with a plurality of gate lines(G1-Gn), and receive driving signals(Vd(1)-Vd(n)). Liquid crystal cells(LC) are arranged at crossed points of gate lines(G1-Gn) and data lines(D1-Dm). An auxiliary gate line(Ga) is formed to the display panel unit(10) for inputting an auxiliary gate driving signal(Vg'). An auxiliary gate driving means(11) is formed to the display panel unit(10) for driving gate lines(G1-Gn).
