PURPOSE: A phase shift compensator of current transformer is provided to prevent error operation, thereby enhancing reliability. CONSTITUTION: A phase shift compensator of current transformer comprises a memory(20), an amplifier(OP11), a micom(10) and a transistor(FET1). The memory(20) stores a reference phase in order to detect phase shift. The amplifier(OP11) receives and amplifies current induced through the transformer. The micom(10) compares the amplified signal from the amplifier and the reference phase from the memory and outputs a compare signal. The transistor(FET1) determines the inversion/non-inversion operation of the amplifier in accordance with the control signal from the micom.
