PURPOSE: A method for preparing rare-earth permanent magnet is provided to prevent the wrapping of top and bottom surface of a magnet by a tube after a hot-forming process, thereby enhancing effective magnet quantity. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing rare-earth permanent magnet comprises a step of preparing a form(16) inserted into a tube(24) of a mesh type; inserting the form(16) into a central hole(12) to mount it on a lower punch(22); a step of compressing the form(16); and a step of hot-compressing the form(16). The form(16) is compressed by the lower punch(22) elevated along to the central hole(12) after it is heated to prescribed temperature by a heater(14) under a vacuum atmosphere.
