PURPOSE: A device for controlling radiation intensity of a flash automatically by using a charge coupled device is provided to control radiation of the flash according to the signal of brightness detected from charge coupled devices. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling radiation intensity of a flash automatically by using a charge coupled device includes a flash portion(1), a charge coupled portion(2), an integral portion(3), a trigger portion(4) and a micom(5). The flash portion(1) supplies light to a subject. The charge coupled portion(2) measures brightness of light supplied to the subject in the flash portion(1). The integral portion(3) integrates the signal of brightness output in the charge coupled portion(2). The trigger portion(4) compares the signal of brightness output in the integral portion(3) with the reference voltage and outputs the trigger signal. The micom(5) inputs the signal output in the trigger portion(4) and controls radiation of the flash portion(1).
