ADD/DROP CONNTOL UNIT USING SPACE DIVISION SWITCH

PURPOSE: A division/coupling controller using a space division switch is provided to easily control functions by which main signals are divided into desired slave signals or the slave signals are coupled to the main signals by an external command, thereby freely changing the structure of an overall network. CONSTITUTION: Main signal receivers(51,52) receive main signals over a constant speed transported from outside. A slave signal receiver(53) receives slave signals which are transformed into electrical signals and demultiplexed. A space division switch(57) changes the transmission paths of the data, frame synchronizing signal, clock and slave signal received from the main signal receivers(51,52) and slave signal receiver(53) in accordance with external switching control signals. Main transmitters(54,55) transmit data, frame synchronizing signal, clock and slave signal output from the space division switch(57) to outside. A slave signal transmitter(56) transmits the slave signals received from the space division switch(57) to outside.
