PURPOSE: A spot welding monitoring system is provided to observe an event of a resistance welding portion and to exactly check the evaluation of the welding quality, the efficiency and the operated state of welding power and the efficiency and the operated state of a pressurizing device. CONSTITUTION: A spot welding monitoring system contains a device(3) to detect welding current from a welder(2) to a welded material; an image signal processing unit(20) to convert the welding current to digital information and to convert the digital information to image information; a clip and cable(4) to detect welding voltage from the welder to the welded material; a voltage A/D converting unit(17) to convert the welding voltage to digital information and to convert the digital information to image information; a pressurizing force sensor(25) to detect pressurizing force to be added to the welded material; a pressurizing force A/D converting unit(30) to convert the pressurizing force to digital information and to convert the digital information to image information; a memory(19) to memorize the converted welding current/voltage/pressurizing force information; a printer unit(24) to display or to print the converted welding current/voltage/pressurizing force information; devices(6,10,27) to adjust magnifications of the detected signals or the outputted signals; a controller(22) to control serial operations and to discriminate an automatic/manual monitoring operation, a welding time and data detecting number per unit time; and a user interface unit(23) to input the welding time, the measuring number per unit time; a level value, a time section and a magnification display. Thereby, a welding defect is analyzed directly.
