BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYESTER FILM FOR CAPACITOR

PURPOSE: A biaxially oriented polyester film having ethylene terephthalate or ethylene naphthalate as primary repeating unit is provided to obtain high breaking voltage and substantially not to alter electrostatic capacity by remarkably increasing adhesiveness to metal deposit layer. CONSTITUTION: The biaxially oriented polyester film having ethylene terephthalate or ethylene naphthalate as primary repeating comprises a coating layer produced by applying liquid resin dispersion including 0.1-10 wt.% of Al(OH)3 (in terms of solid contents) having average particle size of 0.01-3 micrometer to at least one side of a polyester film in a thickness of 0.01-3 micrometer. The resin component of the liquid dispersion is polyester or polyurethane resin. The resulted polyester film having the coating layer efficiently serve to reinforce coupling force between metal deposit layer on surface of the film in the production of condenser and polymer.
