The present invention relates to an improved method and apparatus for forming and sealing the bottom of a liquid, paperboard, gable top, container. Apparatus is disclosed whereby the typical carton opening mandrel wheel has its axis of rotation perpendicular to the line direction of the machine thereby providing an improved and unique sequence of folding operations for forming the carton bottom. |
