A method and apparatus, described in reference to the Figure, for conducting electronic transactions and auditing electronic transaction documents (300) in an online transaction system allows users to accept (326) or reject (316) received electronic transaction documents (300), wherein the acceptance (326) is non-repudiable and is based on the content and terms of the received electronic transaction document (300). Electronic transactions (300) may be stored and audited by validating digital signatures (308, 334) and verifying that the contents of stored electronic transaction documents have not been compromised. |
