ADDRESS BUS 1 BIT ERROR CORRECTOR LOGIC

PURPOSE: A circuit and method for automatically correcting a 1-bit error of an address bus are provided to enable a system to continuously perform a bus operation by correcting an error after sensing the bit error according to a hardware failure, and by enabling an accurate bus slave to receive an address. CONSTITUTION: An address corrector(11) of a bus master side has a shift rotate register(1) which stores an address bit applied by a master. An address corrector(12) of a bus slave side has two registers(4,5) for storing the address applied by the address corrector(11) of the bus master side. The address corrector(12) has a compare logic(6) and a modifier(7) for correcting an error using values of the registers(4,5) in case that a parity error is generated.
