摘要 PURPOSE: IEEE 1394 interface device has many ports is provided to perform a full double communication. and embody bi-directional application such as PIP or TV phone with a low price. CONSTITUTION: IEEE 1394 interface device includes a receiver(320), a cycle monitor(341), a reproduction packet block(371), a port switch(380), a time stamp insertion block(372), a cycle timer(342), and a transmitter(330). The receiver receives isochronous signal having a time stamp indicating a packet data position information from the IEEE 1394 cable. The cycle monitor monitors a timing of the received signal from the receiver. The reproduction packet block analyzes the time stamp information of the received isochronous signal, and reconstructs a packet data position moving generated when transmitting. The port switch includes a first port and a second port. The first port transmits the isochronous signal reproduced by the reconstruction packet block to a display part of the first system. The second port receives the isochronous signal generated by the source generator of the first system. The time stamp insertion block adds a time stamp to the isochronous signal. The time stamp indicates a packet data position of the isochronous signal generated by the source generator. The cycle timer adjusts a synchronous timing of isochronous signal formed by the time stamp insertion block on the basis of the monitoring result of the cycle monitor. The transmitter transmits the isochronous signal to the IEEE 1394 cable.
