PURPOSE: A hydraulic compensating system and method thereof set up the quantity of compensation of duty rate, thereby making a compensation for duty according to the state of an engine output. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic compensating system comprises a volume sensor(11) of suction air, a rotation frequency detector(12) of an engine, a speed changing controller(2) and a pressure control solenoid valve(3). The volume sensor(11) outputs the electric signal equivalent to an air volume, which is sucked to the combustion chamber of an engine. The rotation frequency detector(12) outputs the electric signal equivalent to the rotation frequency of an engine. Firstly, the speed changing controller(2) determines the motion state of the engine by using the signals of the volume sensor(11) of suction air and the rotation frequency detector(12) of an engine. Secondly, the shift controller(2) finds the quantity of compensation of duty according to the state of engine output. Thirdly, the speed changing controller(2) yields the quantity of compensation of duty rate for controlling the oil pressure of an automatic transmission. Finally, the speed changing controller(2) outputs the control signal of a corresponding state to a corresponding device. According to the control signal coming from the shift controller(2), the pressure control solenoid valve(3) changes the magnitude of control pressure, which acts as friction element of an automatic transmission.
