PURPOSE: An apparatus of processing a short message service of a mobile communication terminal by using an external computer is provided to perform the short message service more conveniently and more rapidly by connecting external computer directly to write message and sending message to relevant mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus of processing a short message service of a mobile communication terminal comprises: a computer for performing an application mode of processing the short message, converting transmission information of a short message and a sentence inputted by a user to a packet, and outputting the packet; a mobile communication terminal for analyzing the packet received from the external computer and transmitting the short message corresponding to the result read from the transmission information of the short message and sentence by the analysis; and a data cable for making a transmission path of input/output packets by connecting the computer and the mobile communication terminal.
