PURPOSE: A method for executing a child lock game in television set is to prevent children from playing violent or obscene games by determining whether a game is a child lock game. CONSTITUTION: A method for executing a child lock game in a television set comprises the steps of: setting a game child lock function so that a game is executed by inputting a secret umber in performing the game; releasing the game child lock function; identifying the game child lock so that the game is executed by inputting the secret number when the child lock function is set(S51,S52,S53); setting the secret number to be inputted in executing the game to which the child lock function is set, and in setting and releasing the game child lock. The method comprises further the steps of: selecting the game child lock setting function selected as sub menu and selecting a set and release of the child lock function.
