PURPOSE: A resonant inverter of pulse width variable-type is provided to switch zero voltage by one switch, and to limit a voltage stress of a power switching element of an inverter within voltage of DC(Direct Current) input, in order to operate a uninterruptible power equipment or various inverters with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A resonant inverter of pulse width variable-type comprises a voltage source, a first switch, a first capacitor, an inductor, a diode, a second capacitor, a second switch, and a load current source. The first switch is on in a corresponding mode by an outer control signal, and one end thereof is connected with the voltage source in series. One end of the first capacitor is connected to a contact of the voltage source and the first switch. One end of the inductor is connected to the other end of the capacitor, and the other end of the inductor is connected to the other end of the first switch. The diode is connected with the capacitor in parallel. One end of the second capacitor is connected to a contact of the inductor and the first switch, and the other end of the second capacitor is grounded to the contact. The second switch is connected to the second capacitor in parallel, and is on in a corresponding mode. The load current source is connected to the second switch in parallel. |
