PURPOSE: A thermal deformation preventing device of a hermetic rotary compressor is provided to prevent the deformation of a main slot of a cylinder due to the heat generated when welding a main bearing on a closed container. CONSTITUTION: A thermal deformation preventing device has a rolling piston(109) inserted to an eccentric part(103) of a rotary shaft(104) fixed on a rotor(102). The rolling piston rotates and revolves while contacting to the inner face of a cylinder(108) combined to a main bearing (105) and a sub-bearing (106) by a bolt(107). The circumference of the rolling piston contacts to a vane dividing the inner part of the cylinder into a high pressure part and a low pressure part and placed on a vane slot of the cylinder. And a piece to reduce the welding contact area of the main bearing and a piece to cut off the heat conducted from the welding part of the main bearing are provided. Thereby, the deformation of the vane slot of the cylinder due to the heat generated when welding the main bearing and the degradation of the device due to the leakage by the deformation is prevented.
