PURPOSE: A device for detecting voltage is provided to reduce unstable telephonic communication phenomenon, to predict usable time by checking the remaining amount of battery, and to increase convenience and system quality. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting voltage measures a current of a battery and displays the remaining amount of the battery by comparing the current with a discharging current. A current detector receives a current from a changer and offers the current to an I/V(current/Voltage) converter(5) and a second battery. The I/V converter(5) changes the current to an equivalent voltage. The converted voltage is applied to an A/D(Analogue/Voltage) converter(6) to change the analog voltage to a digital signal. A micro-computer(7) receives the digital signal and also receives pulse from a pulse generator(9). The micro-computer(7) adds the digital signal and the pulse signal and send the result to a display(8). After the second battery charged completely, a switch connects to a load and starts discharge. The discharge current is applied to a load passing through an input node of I/V converter(5). The I/V converter(5) changes the current to voltage and the changed voltage is converted to data by the A/D converter(6). The data is transmitted to micro-computer(7). The micro-computer(7) adds the data signal and data enable signal come from the pulse generator(9). The result of added signal compares with the charged voltage. The difference between the charged voltage and discharged voltage is shown on the display(8).
