PURPOSE: A method of detecting tire abnormality is provided to achieve an enhanced reliability while preventing a false detection by a spin of driving wheels. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of judging the occurrence of spin at the driving wheels according to a rate of value obtained by subtracting an average speed of non-driving wheels from a speed of driving wheels to the speed of the driving wheels and setting a spin for driving wheels, a second step of sensing a reduction of air pressure in a tire, and, if a reduction of air pressure in a tire is sensed in the second step and if the wheel corresponding to the sensed tire is a driving wheel, a third step of alarming tire abnormality only when the driving wheel is not set as a spin in the first step.
