METHOD OF CHANGING COOKING TIME FOR MICROWAVE OVEN

PURPOSE: A method is provided to easily select cooking time in case of a frequently used material as well as to set a random cooking time. CONSTITUTION: Cooking time of a microwave oven is selected by the steps of: deciding if an automatic cooking or an one-touch key is inputted; reading time data from an EPROM(erasable and programmable ROM) according to the selection mode if one of the keys are selected; temporarily saving the read data in a RAM; deciding if increasing or decreasing signals of the saved data in the RAM are inputted; changing the data in the RAM to correspond to the signals; transferring the data in the RAM to the EPROM if the key input is kept during a specific time; deciding if a starting key for cooking is inputted after saving the data in the EPROM; and starting to cook a material according to the time data saved in the EPROM if the starting key is inputted.
