PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a water mattress is provided to maintain the mattress flat, by fixing many high tension strings between upper and lower outer-shells and by adhering sides of a PVC fabric to a main body using a high frequency induction welding process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a water mattress to maintain the mattress flat comprises the steps of: cutting an outer-shell consisted of an upper fabric(1a) and a lower fabric(1b) according to the size of the water mattress; adjusting a center to make high tension strings come to perpendicular positions; fixing a water gateway to one corner; wrapping the upper and lower outer-shells with PVC fabric(3a)(3b) and firmly adhering by a high frequency induction welding process, so that the high tension strings can maintain the flat water mattress and the water mattress standing against pressure generated from water inside.
