PURPOSE: An output drive circuit is provided to stably drive the output of the circuit by reducing a peak current when switching. CONSTITUTION: An output drive circuit includes a first pull-up and pull-down driving unit(100), a level detecting unit(120), a switching control signal generating unit(140) and a second pull-up and pull-down driving unit(160). The first pull-up and pull-down driving unit comprises a first pull-up transistor and a first pull-down transistor and pulls down or pulls up the output terminal of the first pull-up and pull-down driving unit in response to an input signal. The level detecting unit connects with the first pull-up and pull-down driving unit and detects the level of the output terminal. The switching control signal generating unit generates a pull-up switching control signal and a pull-down switching control signal by comparing the input signal with the output signal of the level detecting unit. The second pull-up and pull-down driving unit pulls up or pulls down the output terminal in response to the input signal, the pull-up switching control signal and the pull-down switching control signal.
