PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for elevator door control are provided to minimize the shaking at door stop timing or door stop state generated by maintaining the door stop state with only a manual opening device. CONSTITUTION: An inverter(13) receives three-phase AC voltage to supply desired voltage frequency to a primary winding(5) of a linear motor through a switching element(22). An inverter controller(17) controls the inverter(13). A switch(18) controls overall operations together with DC link voltage(21) within the inverter(13). An impedance(19) supplies suitable current to a three-phase winding combination(20) of the linear motor.
