PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a toner from being splashed and to form a highquality image even when a large amount of toner is carried in the case where not only recovered toner but also new toner is carried by providing a device with a second air pump sucking the gas of a mixture carried to a developing means and returning it to a toner supply means. SOLUTION: Not only the recovered toner from a recovered toner carrying path 7a but also the new toner from a toner container 8 is housed in the toner supply means 3. The second air pump 6 is constituted so that the gas of the mixture carried to the developing hopper 2a of the developing means 2 at a carrying path 4 is sucked through a second carrying path 4b communicating with the joint member 2a1 of the hopper 2a and returned to the supply means 3 when it is driven by the second driving means 10c of a driving means 10. That means the toner and air are supplied to the developing device through a first carrying path 4a and air is recovered from the developing device through the second path 4b. |
