PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the card reader easily assembled and small-sized. SOLUTION: The card reader 1 is so constituted that a card 3 inserted into the card insertion slot 2 is taken in by a card conveying means 4, and detection sensors 5a and 5b provided in the card reader 1 detect the card position and control the conveyance of the card 3. In this case, a reader-side transmitting and receiving antenna part 7 which sends and receives data to and from a card-side transmitting and receiving antenna part provided to a non-contact type IC card. In the case that the card 3 is the non-contact type IC card, it is formed on the circuit board 6 where the detection sensors 5a and 5b are fitted. |
