PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make omittable the pushing work of an excess part after coated optical fiber connection, and to easily house coated optical fibers in a coated optical fiber housing article. SOLUTION: In the coated optical fiber housing processing stand 10, a frame 14 is provided with a mounting part 22 to be held by a closure connecting part 12. A through-hole 54 for projecting a coated optical fiber housing and processing part 42 formed at a base board 18 is formed at a work board 16. A coated optical fiber housing article held by a hanger 92 is fixed and arranged in a state that a cover is opened on the work board 16. The operator front side of the base board 18 is dropped when a supporting pin 28 is pulled out. The operator front sides of the base board 18 and the work board 16 are dropped when a retaining pin is pulled out. Thus, the coated optical fiber housing article for housing coated optical fibers is hung by a hunger 92 so as to be separated from the work board 16. |
