Apparatus for control of a scraping conveyor 8 in a barn system 1, which scraping conveyor 8 transports the feed via a pipe system 9 to a group of feeding positions 6, 7, 12, 13 in the barn 1, which apparatus comprises at least one sensor 14 to indicate the presence of feed in at least one definite position in the pipe system 9 of the scraping conveyor 8, which apparatus likewise contains an electronic control unit 3, which checks the indication of the sensor 14, it being possible to operate said control unit 3 manually to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor 14, and which control unit is pre-programmed to control the starting and stopping of the scraping conveyor 8, which stopping is dependent on the indication of the sensor 14, where the pipe at the position of the sensor 14 is made of transparent material and where the sensor 14 comprises a light transmitter and a photocell to shine through the pipe when the pipe at the sensor 14 is empty of feed. <IMAGE>
