PURPOSE: A method and device are provided to bond the front face of two boards without high temperature oxidization by compressing and heating the width electric device of the board and to produce clad materials having excellent bending property. CONSTITUTION: A device for producing clad materials comprises electrode rolls(22) of an upper and lower unit which lift one between two rolls to feed current to the laminated boards by contacting with different sorts of laminated boards(21a,21b), and to bond laminated boards by compressing. The device contains a device(23) for lifting the roll connected to one between two rolls, a power supplier(25) supplying current to the electrode rolls, and a driving unit(24) giving rotating force to the electrode rolls. The lifting device, the power supplier and the driving unit are controlled by a control unit(26). The rolls are desirable to be longer than width length of the board and usually the length of the rolls is 10 to 2000mm.
