PURPOSE: A matching apparatus of a repeater section overhead bite of a synchronous optical transmission system is provided to reduce a unit cost of a chip by reducing a package of the chip by applying it to a repeater chip of an STM-64 optical transmission system, and facilitate implementation of the repeater by connecting an FPGA and variously re-processing a repeater overhead bite. CONSTITUTION: A receiving signal processor(110) demultiplexes a received single high-speed signal and outputs a plurality of low-speed signals. A transmission signal processor(120) multiplexes the received plurality of low-speed signals and an overhead signal and outputs a single high-speed signal. A receiving repeater section overhead signal processor(200) receives a timing signal related to the overhead signal received from the receiving signal processor(110), outputs the timing signal required for input and output of the overhead signal, and outputs the overhead signal according to the timing signal. A transmission repeater section overhead signal processor(300) receives a timing signal required for processing the overhead signal from the transmission signal processor(120) and outputs a timing signal required for input and output of the overhead signal externally.
