PURPOSE: A hysteresis current control system for an NPC inverter of an alternative motor system is provided to improve shortcoming of an existing NPV inverter by applying a hysteresis current controller to an alternative motor system having a structure of an NPV inverter. CONSTITUTION: A hysteresis current control system for an NPC inverter of an alternative motor system comprises a first band portion(3), a second band portion(4), a control portion(5), and an output portion(6). The first and the second band portions receive an error from a difference between an im* signal and an im signal. The control portion is connected to the first and the second band portions. The control portion receives U signal and U* signal from the first and the second band portions, controls the signal as U1=0, U2=0 if U>0, and controls the signal U1=0, U2=U if U<0. The output portion outputs signals according to a control signal of the control portion.
