PURPOSE: A shield ring for an insulating assembly is provided to prevent an insulator from being damaged by shielding the insulator from a thunderbolt. CONSTITUTION: A shield ring for an insulating assembly includes a shield ring bodies(10) connected to each other by a pair of pipes(10a) while enclosing one end of an insulator. Supporters(13) are fixed on the respective shield ring bodies(10) at their one end. Pads(15) are provided on the respective the other ends of the supporters(13), and detachably attached on an outer yoke to which the other end of the insulator is connected. The shield ring bodies(10) are pipe-shaped and disposed in parallel to each other. Each of the pipes(10a) connecting the shield ring bodies(10) are arc-shaped.
