MULTI-PARTY TESTING APPARATUS AND METHOD WITH CONCURRENCY

PURPOSE: A protocol adaptability testing apparatus and a method of a multi-party system are provided to exchange information through files without setting separate coordination points or test adjusting procedure between a controller and sub testers while maintaining the parallelism between the controller and sub testers. CONSTITUTION: A test manager(200) receives test results to perform a final test decision. A plurality of port protocol testers(210-1-210-n) are dynamically generated in accordance with the request of the test manager(200), are managed by the test manager(200), transmit/receive test events per respective ports, analyze/process the received events, and transmit/receive the test results and message. A message distributer(220) transmits the test events, transfers the received events to the port protocol testers(210-1-210-n), and receives/transmits the test results and message. Sub protocol/timer processor(240-1-240-n) receive the test event from the message distributer(220) to perform an emulation function for sub protocols, manage a timer, and transmit the test result events to the message distributer(220). A test result and log manager(230) is connected to the sub protocol/timer processor(240-1-240-n) and message distributer(220) to manage the test results and log. Port connectors(250-1-250-n) implement the physical connection between the sub protocol/timer processor(240-1-240-n) and a device to be tested.
