PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily uniformize the reference density for every exposure element with a simple constitution without requiring an expensive scanner. SOLUTION: Since the feeding direction at a test density measuring time orthogonally crosses that at a test printing processing time, the arranging direction of respective dots formed of the respective exposure elements 611 of a line exposure means 61 arranged in a line is made to coincide with a successive measuring direction by a density measurement means 53 and the density of the respective dots formed of the respective elements 611 can be successively measured for every element 611 by the measurement means 53. Thus, the reference density can be quickly and easily uniformized for every element 611 by quickly and easily suppressing the variance of the reference exposure density of the respective elements 611 with a simple constitution of the line exposure means 61 without requiring a conventional expensive surface-type scanner.
