PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure dioxines directly and continuously by providing a piping from a sample gas sampling means to a pump and a piping from the sample gas sampling means to the pump through an atmospheric pressure ion source. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas is sampled from a plant by a sampling tube 1, dust, oil, and the like are removed by a filter 2, the gas is sent to the reaction chamber 8 of a mass spectrometry device through a sample carrying tube 3 and a sample introducing tube 4, and ionized. Detected gas not ionized in the reaction chamber 8 and not taken in an intermediate pressure part is exhausted from a gas exhaust tube 5 connected to the secondary ionizing chamber of the reaction chamber 8, and returned to a sample carrying tube 3 provided with a suction pump 12. The exhaust gas is exhausted by an air fan 13 through gas exhaust tubes 33, 35 and an exhust nozzle 15. The one end of a primary ion source introducing tube 6 sucks the atmospheric air by an air suction pump 14, the gas is purified and flow-regulated by a feed gas restrictor 61, and introduced to a primary ionizing chamber. The exhaust gas is anionized by the corona discharge of a needle electrode in the reaction chamber 8.
