PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a three-dimensional feeling and a gorgeous sense to a roof and to prevent rainwater from entering inside. SOLUTION: Roofing 1 is such that when pieces of the roofing 1 are arranged lengthwise and crosswise on a sheathing roof board B, an unexposed part H on which the upper line of the roofing 1 is overlapped is made thicker than an exposed part E which appears to the outside. In that case, the roofing 1 comprises the exposed part E exposed to the outside and an unexposed part H on which the upper line of the roofing 1 is overlapped. The unexposed part H is thick-walled and a step 4 is provided at the boundary between the unexposed part H and the exposed part E.
