PURPOSE: An output controlling laser beam generator is provided to generate a laser beam of high power and high quality by unifying several laser beams generated simultaneously from independent laser beam generating units. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of laser media are disposed in rows parallel with each other. Pumping lamps are provided at a portion of the respective laser media for supplying an energy to the media. A reflecting substance(22) surrounds the each laser medium and pumping lamp set, and is included in a chamber(20). Front reflecting mirrors(10) and output mirrors(12) are respectively disposed at the front and rear of the chamber(20) correspondingly to the axial direction of the laser medium. In order to refract the beams from the output mirrors(12) along the predetermined paths, prisms(24) or mirrors are disposed correspondingly to the laser media or the output mirrors(12). The laser medium is selected from the group consisting of Nd:YAG, Nd:Glass and ruby.
