AN APPARATUS FOR ESTABLISHING A MAIN SHAFT OF THE MACHINE TOOL

PURPOSE: A main shaft installing device of a machine tool is provided to adjust the squareness on X-Y direction and Y-Z direction of a table conveniently in assembling a main shaft, and to assemble and disassemble with simple maintenance. CONSTITUTION: A main shaft(4) is fixed in both sides of a head frame(2) by a screw, and the middle of the main shaft is fastened by a fixture(28). The main shaft is combined with the head frame by point contact. Two combination points are distant from the lower end of the main shaft, and one combination point is placed near the lower part of the main shaft. The torque is improved by the long distance between the main shaft and the fixture in cutting. The head frame is assembled with the main shaft firmly with plural combination points in fixing the main shaft. The main shaft is installed and removed from the heat frame conveniently in front of the head frame by opening the front of the head frame.
