METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BOILER

PURPOSE: A method is provided to prevent the lifetime of a burner from being reduced and to reduce fuel consumption by proportionally controlling the combustion time and the stopping time of a boiler. CONSTITUTION: A boiler is controlled by the steps of: deciding if the heat capacity is stabilized through the continuous combustion of a boiler; calculating the duty ratio between the combustion time and the off time according to the heat capacity required to heat a room; lengthening the combustion time if the required heat capacity is large, or shortening the time; and resetting the proper duty ratio for the required heat capacity if a user changes the set values of the combustion time or the off time.
