PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a packing material to play a role of a dike and to prevent the penetration of a liquid crystal layer into unnecessary portions when filling the liquid crystal layer by providing the panel with this packing material and further to allow the liquid crystal display panel of hitherto structure to utlize. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display panel is constituted by bonding an upper substrate 5 an a lower substrate 7 to each other apart a specified spacing formed by a sealing part 15, providing the panel with the liquid crystal layer to be filled into the spacing from an aperture 21 formed in part of the sealing part 15 and end-sealing the aperture 21 by an end-sealing material. The panel has the packing material for preventing the penetration of the packing material to the unnecessary portions of the liquid crystal layer 19 in part of the sealing part 15 and the external shape of the substrates.
