PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating device taking no excess space by using a strip line (propagation/path) and having high heating efficiency by using a highly efficient slot antenna. SOLUTION: This high frequency heating device is equipped with a heating compartment 5 to heat an object to be heated by a microwave, slot antennas 3, 4 formed on the wall surface of the heating compartment 5 to radiate the microwave, a strip line 2 having high frequency linkage with the slot antennas 3, 4 to transmit the microwave and a microwave generating means 1 linked to the strip line 2, and is composed of a dielectric fixed to the external wall surface of the heating compartment 5, the strip line 2 placed on the dielectric, a conductor 6 to cover the strip line 2 with an air gap and the slot antennas 3, 4 formed on the wall surface side of the heating compartment 5 facing the strip line 2 through the air gap.
