PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize thin profile of the airtight container for a piezoelectric body while ensuring the air-tightness and the strength of the airtight container for the piezoelectric body. SOLUTION: A container main body section 2 is made of a metallic member, a metallic plate 12 on both sides of which an insulating film 11 is applied is placed on a throughhole 2a trough which a connection electrode line 13 is inserted to connect a connection electrode 5a and an electrode terminal 14, the thickness of the film 11 is designed thick and the connection electrode line 13 is wired nearly in parallel with a bottom face of the container main body section 2. Thus, while the profile of the container body section 2 is made thin and the strength of the container body section 2 is ensured equal to and more than the case with the container body section 2 that is made of a ceramic, occurrence of air leakage in the connection electrode line 13 is prevented.
