PURPOSE: A multi wavelength optical buffer using a loop mirror is provided to send cells to requiring nodes without cell conflicts by electrical control, when the cells having many wavelengths arrive on one node in a network. CONSTITUTION: A multi wavelength optical buffer using a loop mirror comprises a loop mirror, a cell inputter, and a controller. The loop mirror divides wavelengths of cells which are inputted from an input terminal from the beginning, stores the divided cells, and reflects the cells to an inputted direction. The cell inputter adjusts gains of the cells and optical power reflected from the loop mirror, and re-inputs to the loop mirror. The controller controls the outward output of the cells, which are inputted and stored to the loop mirror, according to the wavelengths.
